How do we quickly recover from disappointments and unexpected adversity, so as not to infect others with our negativity?

It seems as though no matter how many obstacles we recover from in life, there will always be more to face.

Becoming skilled at quick recovery from life’s misfortunes is key. It is important to have an ongoing outlet to express or rid ourselves of stress, so that it does not build up to the point that we become a chronically negative person.

It seems like lately, so much of what we have been hearing about in the news is what’s ‘down.’ The economy is down; employment is down, retail sales are down, etc.
I wanted to focus on what’s ‘up.’
Are you ‘up’ for creating more future revenue for yourself and not letting the economy determine your financial status?
My friend Carol, like many, was financially struggling due to the economy. I asked her what she was going to do about her situation.

How to Override an Unwanted Craving

Cravings are a natural physiological part of being human. Often times we can crave things that are destructive for us. If we are an addict, or tend to be impulsive, we get strong and frequent cravings. Focusing on our craving, or giving into it, can turn it into a habit.

Being able to override a craving is essential to managing addictions and unwanted habits.

So many of us have never been taught effective skills to manage our impulsive thoughts and cravings.
